Aucklanders take on the 2024 World Aquatics Swimming Championships

Congratulations to our Auckland swimmers, coaches and manager who are headed to Budapest.

We’re excited to wish our Swimming Auckland Athletes all the best as they head to the 2024 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m). A talented team of 19 NZ swimmers will be competing, 12 of whom are from Swimming Auckland.

Helena Gasson, Aquablack #250 is set to make her final international appearance after an impressive career. She’ll be joined by Olympic returnees Hazel Ouwehand and Eve Thomas, along with 10 debutants from Auckland eager to make their mark.

Two of our Swimming Auckland coaches have been selected, Michael Weston and John Gatfield, along with Team Manager Toni Bayliffe.
